Titan is the largest moon of Saturn. It is the only natural satellite known to have a dense atmosphere, and the only object other than Earth where clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid has been found.

Titan is about 40% the radius of Earth, which is 120% the size of Mercury

It is the only moon to have an atmosphere…. 98.4% Nitrogen. Earth has a lot of Nitrogen in our atmosphere, not that much but a lot. It is quite well regarded as being like an Earth in the early stages of its development.

Titan has coasts, lakes, oceans… everything in the same way that Earth does. The one really big difference but instead of it being water it’s liquid methane.

2005 we landed on Titan using the Cassini mission. This is the furtherest place from Earth that we’ve ever been able to land on.
